- Calhoun and Shira execute a plan of Hornsby's that begins with them killing several cleaning workers who reanimate, killing several citizens.
- Max records Sebastian admitting that everything in the Commonwealth is rigged to keep the poor down and has Eugene play it publicly at the Founders' Day event. This outrages the people just as the walkers begin attacking as Sebastian chases down Max. He throws her at one of the walkers, but Eugene intervenes, causing the walker to attack and kill Sebastian as everyone looks on.

- Ezekiel decides to stay at the Commonwealth whereas most everyone else chooses to leave.
- Judith rejects taking back Rick's gun from Daryl, recalling when Michonne had hoped there would be a day when she could hang up her katana. The walker attack forces her to take the gun and help.

Quotes
- Judith: We've come so far. Lost so much. It's hard to trust when anyone can go at any time. But the people who die and the people who go aren't lost forever. I believe that. I have to. And remembering their voices... is how we keep them alive.
- Hornsby: You mind shifting me over a few feet? Think I'm stuck on an anthill here.
- Mercer: Get used to it.
- Hornsby: Wow. I always thought we got along so well.
- Mercer: How many of my men have you gotten killed?
- Hornsby: Oh, Mercer. I thought you realised by now. They're not your men.
- Pamela: Where are you going? You're supposed to protect me.
- Mercer: My job is to protect the Commonwealth, ma'am.
