The Veil is a horror anthology series akin to The Twilight Zone or One Step Beyond, hosted by Boris Karloff. Eleven episodes were produced in 1958, but they were never broadcast on television due to complications within the studio. Later, several episodes were reworked into TV movies but it wasn't until the mid-1990s that the full series was released to the public. An episode of Telephone Time, titled The Vestris, is sometimes considered the unofficial pilot for the show.
