Trivia
The Show
- Zombie Maude: Maude returns from the grave as a ghost in this episode. She last appeared in Alone Again, Natura-diddly.
- Clone Cameos: In the degenerative mob of clones, Peter Griffin from Family Guy and the original version of Homer Simpson from The Tracey Ullman Show make an appearance. It is unknown as to whether or not the Peter Griffin appearance was a slam against Family Guy, but it was taken by Seth MacFarlane as such according to an interview with Blender Magazine.
Behind the Scenes
- (Un)Crazy Credits: For the first time in a Treehouse of Horror episode, the crew doesn't alter their names in order to make them more horror related (i.e. Matt Groening becomes Bat Groening).
- Factual Error: Contrary to common knowledge, Billy the Kid's name was either Wiliam H. Bonney, Henry McCarty or a combination of the two. Bonney may have been his father's last name and McCarty his mother's maiden name.
