The Italian Bob is the eighth episode of the seventeenth season of The Simpsons, and the three hundred sixty-fourth episode overall.

Plot Overview

Homer,and Family are sent to Italy to bring back a Car that Burns wants.While in Italy the Family seeks help from the locals.Since none of the locals speaks English well,one speaks a little english directs the Simpson Family to speak to the Towns only English speaking Resident...The Mayor of the Town.The Simpsons locate the Mayor at his Office.To the Simpsons surprise the Mayor turns out to be Sideshow Bob.How Bob came to be Mayor of this Town was by chance.Since his last encounter with the Simpsons,Bart in particular,Bob had decided to relocate to a Country,but which Country?After rejecting several Country on a Globe in his Apartment,Bob decided to leave in Italy.While staying in Italy,Bob had gotten to know the People.In one of the events of the Country,Women stamp on Grapes to make the Countries Wine.Bob who has enormous feet had started stomping the Grape.So good was Bob in this that he was made the Mayor of the Town.Bob even got married,and prodced a Son.All Bob wants to do currently is to live a marvelous life free of any reminders of his past.The Simpsons agree to not let anybody know of Sideshow Bob's unsavory past.This will prove easier said than done.Bob is inadvertely revealed as a criminal.The local Police has a photo of Bob in their files.Having been exposed,Bob is removed as Mayor,and thus vows revenge on The Simpsons.The Simpsons for the rest of their stay in Italy avoids Bob's wrath.They know that they must leave Italy.To add to their desperation,Bob's Family now helps Bob in his vendetta against the Simpson Family.With help from Krusty The Clown,who is in Italy as well.Krusty is performing in a Playand during his performance where The Simpsons all perform with him on stage,Bob,and his Family attack the Simpsons.Krusty manages to save the Family,using the very Car that Mr.Burns has sent the Simpsons to bring back to the United States.The Simpson Family,and Krusty escape Bob's Vengeance...again.This being the latest will not be the last.The Simpsons make it all the way back to the U.S.
