Plot Overview

Shane gets desperate for cash. Unaware that he's being set up for a sting when he delivers the money to Corrine, Vic tries to establish a deal with the Black Board of Directors for Beltran to be their suppliers.

Ronnie works with Julien to investigate the murder of a football player while meeting with a recruiter.

Happenings

• Vic convinces the Black Board of Directors to agree to take up Beltran as their supplier and arrange a partnership meeting.

• Ronnie drops off the money to Corrine for Vic. Claudette holds off on arresting him for fear that Vic is watching, but has him on tape so they can arrest him later.

Characters

• Corrine wants witness protection, but finds it would involve testifying and doesn't want to.

• Aceveda fears he's being cut out from the investigation and even threatens to tell Beltran that Pezuela is alive.

• Vic convinces Olivia to let him bring Ronnie into things after he gives her back her blackmail file.

• Shane and Mara wind managing to gather less than $5,000. Shane doesn't show up to collect the $100,000, presumably to keep Vic and Shane busy.
