The Sarah Jane Adventures is a spin-off of the long-running British science fiction series Doctor Who for Children's BBC. Sarah Jane Smith was a companion of the Doctor on his travels through time and space. Having been returned back to Earth, she has started her own investigation of alien phenomena. She is assisted by Maria, a 13-year-old girl who just moved into the neighborhood.
