The Nighttime Price Is Right (1972–80) is one of the versions of the popular game show The Price Is Right. This version premiered shortly after the one hosted by Bob Barker on CBS. While Barker's version ran daily in the daytime on CBS, this version was hosted by Dennis James and ran weekly in the nighttime in syndication. James hosted until 1977 when Bob Barker took over and hosted both versions.
In late 1974, a very short-lived element was used called "Do It Yourself." Employed during the Showcase, the contestant was shown three prizes in each of three windows and must select one prize from each window to create his/her Showcase.
