The IT Crowd is a British sitcom that airs on Channel 4 in the UK and IFC in the US. It chronicles the misadventures of the Information Technology (IT) department at a large company. The producers of the show have indicated they don't care how the title is pronounced.
The series follows the adventures of three employees at Reynholm Industries. Moss and Roy are your typical variety of geek, living a rather joyless existence in the bowels of the company as the IT department. Everything changes when they are joined by Jen, a typical working girl who is appointed their manager. Of course, Jen doesn't know anything about computers, she just exaggerated on her résumé and now she's stuck in the basement with them.
