The Herculoids is an animated action series that aired on CBS.
A futuristic family--Zandor, wife Tara and son Dorno, live in peace on their natural planet Amzot with creatures Zok, Igoo, Tundro, Gloop and Gleep. Toegther they protect their home planet from outside forces who would corrupt it with their technology.
New Herculoids episodes would be made in 1980 for NBC's Space Stars show, which debuted in 1981 (delayed due to an animator's strike).
