Plot Overview
While stepping out to the ice cream shop to pick up some ice cream for dessert for their families, Fred and Barney are deputized by multimillionaire playboy detective Aaron Boulder to join him on a murder mystery case Boulder is pursuing. Fred and Barney end up doing the leg work for Boulder during the case and run into difficulties with the criminals they face. The guys, frustrated over their lack of success in capturing the crooks, turn their badges back in to Boulder, but they quickly discover it all turned out to be part of an act for Boulder's new reality TV series, My Favorite Crime. Boulder brings Fred and Barney home, where a pleased Wilma and Betty reveal that they saw them on the show.
