Plot Overview
With the missing tooth found at the second murder, Erskine is able to definitely identify Paul Clementi as the assassin 'Cupid'. Leo Roland convinces Paul that his Uncle Ed, who raised him after his parents were killed, was responsible for their murders and orders him to take out both Ed and his wife Flo, who are reconciling now that Ed has agreed to turn evidence against Roland. Erskine races to where the Clementis are hiding, trying to beat Paul there, but Roland, suspecting that Paul might get cold feet, is also en route, hoping to take out the young assassin if necessary...but Roland is unaware that his daughter Chris. who's planning to run away with Paul, is also there and may be in danger as a result.
