Robot P. Coltrane is the fourth episode of the seventh season of The Dukes of Hazzard, and the one hundred thirty-fourth episode overall.
The episode centers on Rosco, who is fired as sheriff after Boss Hogg purchases a robot that can do law enforcement tasks better than the incumbent Hazzard County Sheriff. However, Boss is unaware that the robot is stolen and that its salesman -- an embittered electronics wizard who had recently been laid off -- plans to steal the robot back and hold it for a $25,000 ransom.
