Supercuts, Terror Funding: Less Money, Mo' Problems: Anti-terrorism grants to New York and Washington are cut by 40%, but Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff doesn't think it's fair to consider them to be cuts. Instead funding is being diverted to Louisville, KY, Omaha and Charlotte, NC. Of course, this makes sense because of the dreaded Omaha Bin Laden.
- Senior Counterterrorism Reporter, Rob Corddry: Rob comments on the distribution of anti-terrorism funds and why New York is classified as having no national landmarks. He describes what he believes may be the formula used to determine the funds, which boils down to whether or not the state voted for Bush.

I Got Through Babe!: Cher called into a C-SPAN broadcast to complain about soldiers not being properly equipped for battle. Not only once but twice. And apparently one of her best friends is Lou Dobbs. On the other hand, Jon mocks the new body armor introduced for Marines to protect against roadside bombs and small-arms fire, which looks suspciously like the Michelin Man.

Caroline Kennedy, President of the John F. Kennedy Foundation, comes on the show to talk about John F. Kennedy's book, Profiles in Courage, which is in its 50th anniversary. She also talks about the Profiles in Courage awards, which honored John Murtha (D - PA), who spoke out against the war in Iraq, and a lawyer who spoke out against the policy of torture.

The 100th episode of The Colbert Report is so special that Jon says that they could not "indulge us with a preview."
