[edit] Plot Overview

Peter comes home with the measles ... then Jan ... then the rest of the children. A mini-measles outbreak has stricken the Brady household.

When Peter comes home ill, Carol calls her family doctor to make a house call. After calling Mike at work to say that Jan is now ill, Mike calls his family doctor. Imagine the horror when Peter finds out that the doctor that will be treating him is ... a woman; Dr. Porter was the girls' family physician, as it turns out. And Jan won't let that male doctor — Dr. Cameron, who had served the boys' needs lo these many years — tend to her condition! The other siblings, based on their gender, share the same opinion.

As they turn their parents into their butlers, the children begin debating the abilities of male and female doctors, extolling the virtues of ones based on their gender and scorning the other.

In the end, Mike and Carol — who have been considering compromise and trying to get the kids to reconsider their childish opinions — decide to stick with their previous physicians. But it all may be a wash anyway: Drs. Cameron and Porter have decided to consolidate their practices.

In the wrapup, Alice comes down with the measles.
