Plot Overview
Marcia reads a letter in "Dear Libby," an advice column, where a newly married writer complains about her new living situation: three stepchildren along with children of her own, and things aren't working out too well. Marcia immediately begins worrying that the situation is too close to the Bradys' new living arrangement and shares her concerns with her siblings.
Despite Mike and Carol's assurances that they did not write the letter, the kids (along with Alice) decide to write Dear Libby and ask them to reveal the identity of the letter writer. It takes a visit from the columnist herself to clear everything up: the letter writer lived in Illinois, more than 1,000 miles away.
