Plot Overview

The Residents in a small Fishing Town are being extorted by a Suckfish name Garber. They are forced to give most of the profits to Garber,or risk bodily harm. One Man who was gathering proof of Garbers extortion scheme was bably beaten, and put in a Hospital. His son,and daughter reports the matter to the local Police, but as was before there is no proof of wrongdoing.By the time this tragedy came along,The A-Team arrives. They had escaped Colonel Decker.B.A.'s foot is bably hurt. The Team checks B.A. into the same local Hospital as the son,and daughters father. While awaiting the Doctors report on B.A.'s condition, the rest of the Team listen to the daughters complaint to the Local Sheriff's Deputy about Garbers rough tactics on their father.Knowing that the Deputy can't,or won't do anything about Garber(the Deputy was likely paid off by Garber)the daughter feels lost as to what to do.After the Deputy leaves, the Doctor wheelchair B.A. out.The verdict to B.A.'s condition is that his foot injury is not critical. He just has to stay off it for afew days.Having heard the young woman's story about Garber,Hannibal, and the Team offers to help the young woman, and her brother fight Garber, and those that work for him.The brother, and sister accept the Teams help. But,before the Team can do anything,Decker, and his MP'S arrive, having lost the A-Team,Decker deduces that they must be at the Local Hospital. He,and his MP'S search the Hospital, but they miss catching The A-Team..The Team later in the day join up with the brother, and sister at their Home.Learning more about Garbers operations,The Team decides to first warn Garber to lay off the residence in the Fishing Community. When this fails to discourage Garber which results in a fist fight, the Team decides to collect evidence against Garber(just as the Father was doing before he he was beaten up)by photographing his illegal traps.Having done this the Team surprises Garber, and his men on their fishing boat with the intention of turning them in to Local Police. Before this can happen,Colonel Decker surprises the A-Team except for Murdock who escapes detection by wading into the water.Decker had been talking to various people in the small Community about the Team.He comes across Garber who told him about these men that he encountered. So,knowing that the A-Team is most likely still in Town, and knowing about Garbers extortion racket,Decker, and his men will wait for the Team to strike at Garber. They do get the drop on Hannibal,Face, and B.A.Decker's plan is to call for a transport Van to take The A-Team to a heavily Fortified place. For the present time,The A-Team will be kepted in a Holding Place with Decker, and his men guarding them.Garber is feeling smug at the A-Teams capture, until Decker tells him that had he not cooperated with him in helping catch The A-Team,Decker would have turned him over to the Local,or Federal Law anybody that would haul him in.Decker won't arrest Garber, but would instead warn him to leave Town before Decker arrest him..Garber will leave, but before he does,he gives Hannibal a warning that he will take out his having to be forced to leave on the brother, and sister.Knowing Garbers threat is real,Hannibal tries to come up with a plan of escape before the Transport Van arrives. The Transport Van soon arrives, but the man behind the wheel is not the regular driver, and there are two peole in the front seat. The two people are Murdock, and Amy.They had intercepted the driver of the Transport Van,and tied him up.Wearing scarfs on their faces so as not to be recognized, they get the drop on Decker, and his MP's.They release the others, and lock Decker, and his men in the Holding Place. Now the Team has to get back to Town before Garber does. They succeed. This time,The Team surprises Garber, and his men.Unlike the fight they had earlier,Garber, and his men run from the Team, but not before putting up a half-hearted fight.Having subdued Garber, and his men, they tie them up,and leave them for Decker. The Father who had been trying to gather evidence against Garber is recovering well.He will soon be coming Home soon. The brother, and sister will forever be grateful to the A-Team for their help in defeating Garber.

Quotes

  • Decker: Cut it Garber! If you hadn't cooperated with me, I'd turn you over to the state police, FBI, anyone who'd have you.
Garber: Well, we sure get holy when we get what we want, don't we.
Decker: I never agree with Colonel Smith, but your extortion scam cut about as much ice with me as it does with him.
