Plot Overview

Ruby shows Mark her wedding outfit and then he gives her a bouquet and they leave to get married. Judith tells Grant that Mark has eloped with Ruby Wright. Paige tells T.J. that Maggie is the one that hurt her. Paige remembers fighting with George, dressed as Maggie and tells T.J. that George took a gun and mentioned something about killing Grant Wheeler and then they both leave to go warn Grant. Grant tries to calm Judith down and get her to accept Ruby as Mark's wife. Reena arrives at World Oil and tells Barbara that she has to talk to Grant right away and if a man named George St. John tries to talk to Grant do not let him in but rather call security and get out as soon as possible because he is dangerous. Then Reena enters Grant's office and tells him she has to talk to him about George St. John. Reena tells Grant that George is after him because he was the foreman on his sister's jury. Reena also tells Grant that she thinks George came to Houston to get revenge on him for what happened to his sister and also thinks he was responsible for Stella's accident that was meant for Brette. On the way to get married, Ruby tells Mark the only thing missing is Lurlene at her wedding. George arrives at World Oil and Barbara tells him that Grant is in a conference right now so George decides to wait. George spots Barbara attempting to call security and knocks her out. Then he enters Grant's office and tells Reena to hang up the phone. Grant realizes the gun George has is his and George tells him that he has been in his house and not only smashed the family portrait but has handled many of his things and grabs Judith and tells her to explain it to Grant. George forces Judith to tell Grant that she had an affair with George. George makes sure Grant knows that it was more than once and that she liked it. He tells Grant she did it because she hates him but she says that isn't true. George hears Maggie telling him to kill them but George says he is going to tell Grant what he did to them first. Paige and T.J. learn from Sgt. Harry Albertson that George has Grant, Judith and Reena at gunpoint in Grant's office and they are calling in a sharpshooter. Then Paige tells T.J. that Alex Wheeler gave her keys to the private elevator and she is going up to try to talk to George. T.J. tries to stop Paige from going up in the elevator but then winds up going with her in it. Mark introduces Ruby to Judge "Bogus Bill" Michaels, a friend of Mark's. Ruby tells Mark that she has her Granddaddy’s ring and would be honored for him to wear it. Then Bill asks them if they brought witnesses for the wedding. Then Bill brings in Lurlene and Joel and Ruby is thrilled. Ruby and Mark say their "I do's" and become man and wife. Then the four of them go to celebrate. Paige and T.J. arrive outside Grant's office and T.J. offers to help her with the bookcase but she makes him promise to stay out of sight. George tells Grant, Reena and Judith that the police wanted to take Maggie and put her in a box and put the box in the ground but he said no to it. Then he starts having head problems again and falls to the ground. As Grant and the others try to escape, George gets up and Reena tells him that Maggie is dead. George tells them she isn't dead but they will be starting the foreman.
