Plot Overview

Mark tells Ruby he is going to take her out and show her the countryside. Lurlene tells Allison and Brette that Ruby is with Mark. George tells Maggie she can't come out and barricades them inside the dark room. Paige tries reaching T.J. and then reads a letter from the prison chaplain. Paige learns that Maggie killed herself in prison and leaves a message for T.J. to please come and help her with George. Justin tells Reena that Allison says that T.J. knows she doesn't have the birth certificate. Lurlene leaves hints that enable Brette and Allison to figure out that Mark has eloped with Ruby. Justin tells Reena of Allison's chat with T.J. and tells him she has her doubts about Allison. Paige tries to get George to let her into the darkroom but when he won she tells him she isn't going anywhere. Ruby and Mark tour New York City. Mark and Ruby enjoy Central Park as the song "Hold Me" plays in the background. Judith arrives at the office and learns from Brette that Mark has eloped with Ruby Wright. T.J. hears the message that Paige left on his answering machine and grabs his gun and leaves. Paige is greeted by George dressed up to look like Maggie. The Maggie side of George tells Paige she is going to kill her and then it is Grant Wheeler's turn. As they struggle Paige falls and the knife nicks her. Then as it is about to stab her George regains control and tells Maggie not to hurt Paige and he will do as she wishes. Mark tells Ruby he will make her happy. Justin hopes Ashley will come back before T.J. can take their son away. Then Hawker and Boots arrive to tell Justin that word is he isn't taking care of Marshall Oil as he should. When Haker and Boots leave they decide that Marshall Oil may right for the picking. Allison stops by to see Justin and he tells her that he and Ashley built Marshall Oil together. Allison offers to help Justin with Marshall Oil and he agrees. Reena reads the file on Grant's trial and tells Christine that the woman was George's sister. George takes care of Paige and then gets Grant's gun and tells Maggie he is going to kill Grant and then the 3 of them can go away together. Reena and Christine read articles on the trial and learn that George had it in the Wheelers because they were rich and felt that because his parents were servants Grant Wheeler looked down on them. Reena then believes that George arranged Stella's accident and that it was meant for Brette and leaves to warn Grant. T.J. arrives at George's looking for Paige. T.J. finds Paige and says he won't lose her too.
