Plot Overview

Brette visits Mark who tells her he has another date tonight. Burton stops by T.J.'s office and tells Ginny he needs to know everything he can about the birth certificate. A man rings George's bell but he doesn't answer so the man leaves a note and slides it under the door. George tells Maggie to be quiet and then the man leaves and Paige arrives. George tells Paige that Maggie is visiting and that she was in prison but escaped. Ginny shows Burton the files on Gregory. Then Burton tells her he is going to France tomorrow and tells T.J. that Mildred doesn't know a thing. So T.J. calls Mildred and asks to see her tonight. Brette asks Mark if she can stay at his place for a few nights and he agrees. Then he tells her that Sally Atherton, Debbie and Martha Jane are just dates and he misses Ruby so much. Then Brette tells Mark he knows what he has to do. Ruby tells Joel, Lurlene and Elena that Dan is coming by to hear Elena sing. Then Dan arrives. George tells Paige that Maggie keeps going out. Then George's head hurts like crazy and then says it's all done because Maggie is free. George tells Paige the man at the door is a policeman and no one can know that Maggie is here. Then he asks Paige to leave. Ruby tells Joel and Lurlene that starting tonight she is going to work hard for Elena. Ruby also says she can handle being with Mark in the wedding party. As Ruby talks she gets madder about Mark. Sally arrives at Mark's and they talk about her job. Then Mark tells her about the time Ruby was in jail and after both talk about Ruby Sally tells Mark it is okay if they don't go to dinner. Mildred meets T.J. and tells him she is sorry to hear about Ashley. T.J. tells her that Burton is on his way to France and that Gregory is his son. Mildred blames Ashley for not telling him the truth but T.J. takes full responsibility. He also tells her that Justin won't give up without a fight. Elena sings "Hold Me" for the crowd. Then Mark enters the Coop and tries to talk to Ruby but she avoids him. Then Mark asks Ruby for a beer, a glass and to marry him. T.J. tells Mildred that for now they have to make sure they don't do anything to harm their case. From a pay phone, George tries to call Maggie at his place. After Ruby yells at Mark she agrees to marry him. Paige tells T.J. that a friend of hers has someone who has escaped and T.J. tells Paige to stay clear of it and to tell her friend she is asking for big trouble. Then they talk about Gregory. T.J. tells Paige it would be nice for them to sit down and talk some time. George tells Maggie the police are after her but she tell him she doesn't want that drunk here again and he has to choose the two of them. On the plane Ruby asks Mark where they are going and he decides they should go to Paris. Mark learns they don't have enough fuel for Paris, or Hawaii or London so they head to New York City.
