Plot Overview

Judith tells Brette that Grant is coming around. Then Brette asks who told him about her financial trouble and Judith tells her that Reena told him. Christine tells Reena she will have information on the Boston trial this afternoon. Someone looks at Grant's picture and picks up a gun. Brette is upset that Reena interfered but Judith tells her she is going to put Reena Dekker in the past. Then Brette tells Judith that Rikki is going on tour and she doesn't like it. Then Grant comes down and everyone is happy that he is home. Grant tells Vivien he gave John a bonus and then tells Judith he really wants things to work out for them. Rikki tells Dan that Elena is singing on his show and feels Dan will want to work with her too. Billy Joe brings flowers to Paige and asks if they are still friends. Billy Joe mentions her going on his show and talking about her drinking but she tells him she doesn't have a drinking problem. Then Billy Joe pays her the money he owes her. Brette tells Mark he should face up to the fact that he misses Ruby. Then she tells him that Grant came home and Judith is happy and she thinks it will work for their parents this time. Grant tells Judith he realizes he was partially to blame for her not telling him and says they have to promise not to keep anything from each other. Someone is in the bushes watching a gun as Grant leaves the house. Brette tells Reena she had her chance and should leave Grant and Judith alone. Vivien and John make plans for their first day off as an engaged couple. Christine leaves the folder on Grant's court case on Reena's desk. Then a blonde enters and takes it. Rikki and Elena sing and after the show Dan compliments Elena and Christine. Then Brette tries to see Rikki but publicity shots keep them apart. Ruby learns that Christine and Billy Joe set up the program on divorce but Billy Joe defends the decision. Judith interrupts Paige drinking to look at clothes and then remembers George telling her he won't tell anyone about them. Then Judith learns from Paige that George has a friend in from Boston but doesn't know who it is. The blonde arrives at George's with the file and the gun. Brette tells Rikki she is going to miss him and is afraid Dan's plans are going to make things even worse time-wise. Then Rikki is taken away to record a promo spot and as it plays Brette cries. Grant tells Mark that he and Judith are back together. Then Grant mentions how playing the field isn't all it's cracked up to be. Mark tells Grant it is over between him and Ruby because she wants it that way but he misses her. Paige calls George and asks if they can get together tonight but he says he can't. Then George yells at Maggie. Reena asks Christine where the file is and Christine tells her she left it on her desk with articles on Margaret Ellington. George tells Maggie there is no reason to kill Grant now but Maggie says she wants him dead and it will be so easy.
