Plot Overview

As the phone rings and the fire burns, Paige is passed out on the bed. T.J. tells Ginny he wonders what is going to happen when Justin gets back. Ashley tells Gregory that T.J. will be over soon. Then Justin shows up at the house. Kate opens the door and finds the fire and Paige. Kate wakes Paige up and tells her they have to get out of here. Justin tells Gregory he won a race and then privately tells Ashley he had to get away after what happened. He also says he read about Ryan on the plane and tells Ashley they have a lot to talk about. Then Gregory tells them the ranch is on fire. Once they are out of the house, Kate tells Paige she is going back inside. George can't get through to Paige so he tries again and gets a busy signal. Ruby notices George trying to get through on the phone. Then Ruby talks to Lurlene and Joel about Allison being with Mark and tells them she is going to stop by Mark's. Meanwhile, George learns the phone is off the hook at the ranch. T.J. tells Ginny that Justin may have taken Ashley's papers and then Reena enters. Justin, Gregory and Ashley arrive at the ranch and find a drunk Paige and Justin goes in to get Kate. Joel and Lurlene decide on getting married at the ranch. Kate picks up the phone and tells George there is a fire and then Kate passes out. George tells Lurlene and Joel there is a fire out at the ranch. Mark and Allison arrive at his penthouse. Then Mark has to get some information to Brette and asks Allison to wait for him. In the house, Justin searches for Kate and finds her unconscious on the floor in the kitchen. Justin revives Kate. Reena tells T.J. he should leave. Then Reena learns the ranch is on fire and Ginny, Reena and T.J. head out. Ashley tries to calm a drunk Paige while Gregory worries about Justin and Kate. Then they come out of the house. Kate tells them she went back in for the Marshall bible so Justin goes back in to get it. Allison opens the door to Ruby. Allison lets Ruby know that she and Mark had a romantic dinner together and also tells Ruby that she and Mark have a lot in common. Ruby comes close to tears as she and Allison exchange words. Then Allison opens the door for Ruby to leave. Ashley tries to calm Gregory and Kate who are upset that Justin went back into the house. Then they hear the fire alarms. Mark arrives back at the penthouse and Allison doesn't tell him that Ruby stopped by. Mark tries to get Allison to talk about Ashley and she tells him when their parents died Ashley dumped her on Aunt Hildy. She also says that Ashley had a decision to make and didn't include her. As Mark tries to get intimate with Allison she decides she should go and leaves. Ruby gets back to the Coop and decides she played the whole thing wrong with Mark. Then she puts on "Hold Me" and goes home. Ashley tells the firemen that Justin is inside. Then George arrives and finds Paige as Kate and Gregory wait for Justin to come out. As the firemen try to enter the house, T.J., Reena and Ginny arrive and George tells T.J. that Paige is in shock. Ashley tells T.J. that Justin is still inside.
