Plot Overview

As Rikki starts the show, Ruby tries to defend Billy Joe to Christine and Hunt in the decision to fire him but they don't listen. George calls a drunk Paige but she hangs up on him when Judith arrives at the boutique. Ruby calls Elena and both are worried about Billy Joe and Ruby tells her they fired Billy Joe. Then Billy Joe arrives at KVIK. Ruby tells Billy Joe he has been fired and Christine confirms it. Then Billy Joe tells them he has to go on the air. Judith casually asks Paige questions about George and then Paige goes to get her a dress. Ruby and Christine try to stop Billy Joe from going on the air but he does. Billy Joe thanks Rikki and then speaks to the audience. Billy Joe talks about talking at people and how people don't talk about the most important things. Christine tells Hunt not to yank Billy Joe off the air and so they watch as Billy Joe goes on about his life. Then Reena asks why Billy Joe is still on the air and Christine tells her Billy Joe is doing a great job. Paige tells Judith she has only known George a short time and then George arrives. When Paige goes in the back, George asks Judith why she is there. George tells Judith if he sees her talking to Paige again her whole little world will be shattered. Then Judith asks if he was in her home but George doesn't answer and Judith leaves. George then tells Paige that Judith had to leave but would like one of everything charged to Grant. Vicky tells Reena to call a meeting as Billy Joe ends his show still talking about what really matters in life. Everyone compliments Billy Joe and Billy Joe tells them that Nita isn't coming back. Then Christine tells Billy Joe she wants to talk to him but he walks out with Elena. Then Reena tells Christine and Hunt there is a meeting right now. Ruby tells Rikki that Billy Joe got to her. Ginny tells T.J. she is sorry about the safe and then Ashley enters and learns that Ginny is staying in town with Reena. Vicky tells Hunt, Reena and Christine she is pulling the Billy Joe show and replacing it with a movie until they can find a replacement. Christine argues in favor of Billy Joe but Reena says they can't be using Billy Joe's personal problems for ratings. Then Vicky asks Hunt what he has to say. Billy Joe packs up his belongings and tells Elena, Rikki and Ruby that Nita isn't coming back but they didn't talk about a divorce and they all support him. Ashley is upset that Ginny is staying with Reena. Then T.J. tells her that he trusts Ginny but they also agree not to confide in Ginny. Paige tells George she couldn't tell how Judith feels about him. Then she asks him if they can go back to the Coop tonight because Billy Joe is due back and she wants to see how he is. When George leaves, Paige drinks some more. Hunt tells Vicky he agrees with Christine that they should wait and see how the audience reacts because he thinks Billy Joe is alright. Reena disagrees and gets the phone reports. Sally tells everyone that the audience loved Billy Joe.
