Plot Overview

Ruby reads in the paper about the board meeting. Then she reads that Ryan was killed. Reena tells Vicky that Ashley is at it again. Vivien tells Grant and Judith she is sorry about Ryan. Then Judith tells Grant about Ashley and Justin getting a divorce and her taking over Marshall Oil. George decides to pay his sympathies to the Wheelers. Reena tells Vicky that Ashley is the new president of Marshall Oil. Then they talk about Vicky's relationship with Hunt and Vicky says she doesn't have anything new to say about Hunt. Then Kate calls Reena and tells her that Ryan was killed. Reena tells Vicky about Ryan and then leaves to be with Ginny. Mark arrives at the house and he and as he and Grant discuss work Mark is one step ahead of Grant. Then Brette tells them she wants to wrap things up for Ryan and Judith agrees it would be good for her to go. Then George arrives and Vivien tells Judith he is at the front door. Ginny tells Kate she had a dream about Ryan during the night and Kate comforts her. Ruby tells Lurlene that Ryan has been killed and Lurlene decides to go to the ranch. Hunt stops by Vicky's and offers to take her to work. Then he gets a call from Helen at the studio and tells Vicky he has to cancel taking her to the studio due to an occupational hazard. Brette learns George is at the door and lets him in. George extends his condolences to everyone. Then Mark and Grant leave and George learns Brette is going away for a while. George decides he can wait for her to come back. Reena comforts Ginny. Ruby stops by the hospital and sees Stella. Stella takes pot shots at Ruby but Ruby tries to be nice to her. Then Vicky stops by and Ruby leaves. Lurlene stops by KVIK and tells Joel she is going to the ranch and Joel suggests they go together. Then they talk about the gloomy little office he is in. George mentions to Judith about how Ryan's death must be affecting them all. Then George asks Judith if she was sleeping with Ryan also. When Judith goes to slap him he stops her and tells her never to try that again. Then George leaves with Judith in tears and Mark trying to calm her. Stella tells Vicky instead of suing, she wants to make a deal with her. Stella tells Vicky she wants to be the new game show host instead of Billy Joe and Vicky agrees to think about it. Vivien and John talk about the great times they have had together. Kate tells Reena that Justin doesn't know about Ryan yet. Then Reena tells Kate that Ashley was made chairman. Joel asks Hunt if he can leave work early to take Lurlene to the ranch and he says yes. Ruby talks to Mark about Ryan passing on. Grant sees Reena at the ranch and they talk about Ryan and how it hurts to lose someone you love. Then they talk about Justin and Ashley getting a divorce and he asks her what is best for her. Grant asks Reena if Justin is best for her and she says he is all she has now. Grant tells her maybe things did work out best for both of them. Then they say that they want each other to be happy and as they hug, Judith sees them.
