Plot Overview

Justin picks Gregory up for KVIK and tells Doris and Ashley that John Stern is the baseball player he is going to meet. Brette tells Judith that just about everyone, including Reena, will be at the Boathouse. Then Judith learns George is out of town on a family emergency. George visits Maggie in jail and she tells him the retrial has been denied and she will die in jail. Judith is surprised to hear that George has a sister. Then Vivien, Brette and Judith talk. Then, when alone, Judith verifies that George is out of town. George begs Maggie not to give up and George promises to make the Wheelers pay. Vicky sees T.J. at KVIK and tells him that someone may be trying to hurt Brette. Justin thanks Ashley for allowing him to take Gregory to KVIK and invites her to come too but she says that their being together might give Gregory false hope. Ruby invites Mark to see Rikki's first show but he says he can't. Then Ruby asks Mark if he loves her and as they kiss Allison enters. Christine leaves when Brette arrives to see Rikki and wish him well. Ruby tells Allison that she and Mark have decided she is too busy to be the World Oil spokesperson. When Ruby leaves, Mark tries to talk to Allison but she says he has a lot to do. George calls to inquire about the Lacey estate and learns that there are leans against the property and figures Judith came to Houston because she is broke. Hawker and Boots wish Rikki well and then they see Lurlene and Joel and congratulate them. Detective Meadows tells Vicky and T.J. there is still no decision on the investigation and then Christine comes up to see them followed by Ruby. Mark asks Allison why she is so cool toward him but she plays dumb. Then Mark asks her to dinner and she says maybe tomorrow night. Doris tells Ashley that Gregory is fond of T.J. and Justin. Then when Ashley leaves the room Doris calls Brian and tells him that T.J. may be a skeleton in Ashley's closet. She also says she is working on a hunch of hers and Brian tells her that Justin doesn't know who she is. Justin and Gregory arrive to see Rikki's show and Ruby keeps them company. Then Gregory sees T.J. and talks to him. Then Justin, privately, talks to T.J. about Gregory's surprise. Next, Justin talks to John Stern and asks him to meet Gregory, which excites Gregory. Gregory thanks Justin for the surprise and then Hawker and Boots say hello to them and T.J. Christine tells Vicky they are down a cameraman so Vicky asks Joel to handle a camera and everyone encourages him. Then the show begins and Rikki sings "Blue Eyes". George shows up at the Wheeler's and surprises Judith by kissing her. George tells Judith he wonders if Grant realizes how many nice things he has.
