Plot Overview

Brette tells Rikki and Ruby she is OK and wanted to be at the studio. Then Christine arrives. Reena arrives at Justin's and tells him she wants to talk to him about Gregory. Ashley tells T.J. she has no choice but to tell Justin about the baby. Reena tells Justin that a ballplayer will be on Rikki's first show tomorrow and thought Gregory would like to meet him. Reena also tells Justin that Stella is still in a coma. Then Billy Joe arrives to see Justin and thank him for the time off and Justin suggests he see Paige. T.J. tells Ashley that Justin may want to reconcile once he learns about the baby. T.J. wonders if anyone will ever know that he is Gregory's father. Lurlene tells Elena about the visit to the judge and how she thinks Ruby was expecting a ring from Mark. Then Lurlene shows Elena the ring Joel gave her and Joel arrives. Christine tells Ruby she is innocent but Ruby doubts it. Rikki and Brette want the subject dropped. T.J. tells Ashley that Gregory's adoption can be contested if new information is presented within the first 2 years. He also tells her that she perjured herself by not claiming she was his mother and Justin could make an issue of it. Justin tells Doris of his surprise for Gregory. Then he tells Gregory they are going to KVIK tomorrow. Ruby stops by the Coop and tells Joel about the party tomorrow night. Billy Joe stops by Pg.1 and finds Paige in the dark and asks if she is OK. Then Billy Joe tells Paige he doesn't think Nita is ever coming back. Joel tells Lurlene and Elena he isn't so sure KVIK is right for him. Then he and Lurlene leave and Elena tells Ruby she is worried about Billy Joe and Ruby says she will talk to him. Paige tells Billy Joe that Nita will come back but he tells her that his being there embarrassed her and that she acts differently now and the news upsets Paige. Then Paige suggests they have dinner together but he tells her he can't. Justin tells Gregory he will see him tomorrow and then leaves. Brette tells Rikki that she will be fine at his show tomorrow. Then Brette mentions to Rikki in passing that George got a phone call from his sister. Vicky finds Christine checking out the studio for Rikki's show and Christine tells Vicky that everyone thinks she caused Stella's accident. Lurlene tells Ruby and Elena she is enjoying being engaged and doesn't have to rush things. Then Rikki, Brette and Joel arrive at the Coop and all go over the guest list and decide to invite Hawker and Boots. Ruby learns George is out of town on personal business. Gregory asks Ashley if he can go to KVIK tomorrow and she says yes. Then, privately, Doris tells Ashley and T.J. what Justin's surprise is and T.J. decides he is going to go to KVIK also. T.J. tells Ashley he will be there to see his son meet a famous baseball player. Meanwhile, Doris continues to spy on them.
