Plot Overview

Ashley arrives at work and Justin asks her what they are going to do about Marshall Oil. Lurlene comes home and she and Ruby talk about what happened to Stella and about Joel. Vicky tells Christine that Detective Meadows wants to see her and he asks her if an earring he found belongs to her. Christine tells Meadows she was on the catwalk trying to figure out what happened because she felt responsible. Then the detective questions her about her relationship with Brette. Ashley tells Justin he can see Gregory without seeking total custody and asks him to back off. Justin tells Ashley he is building Marshall Oil for Gregory. Grant and Judith try to talk Brette into staying home but she says no and then Rikki arrives and tells her he is worried about her too. Brette tells them all that she is not going to be intimidated by someone. Lurlene tells Ruby that she and Joel have made up. John reminds Grant and Judith that Vivien arrives home this morning so Grant sends him out in the limo to pick her up while he drives himself to work. Joel tells Mark the good news about him and Lurlene. Then Rikki and Brette arrive and Joel leaves. Judith confesses to Grant that she is afraid she will ruin things for them again. Grant tries to assure her that it is all in the past but she knows it isn't all in the past. John picks up Vivien at the airport and tells her he missed her. Joel arrives at the apartment and Ruby is excited to see him and asks when they will be hearing wedding bells. Joel tells her first things first and then Ruby leaves. Lurlene tells Joel the only thing that matters is their love for each other. Paige finds Ashley in Justin's office. Ashley tries to talk to her but Paige tells her that Justin deserves Gregory because she has T.J. Vicky and Hunt tell the detective that there must be a misunderstanding about Christine. Then Rikki arrives and Meadows questions him about Brette and Christine. When Justin comes back into the office, Paige storms out. Allison shows Mark the promotional spots she did for Ruby. Then Ruby arrives. Rikki defends Christine to the detective as do Vicky and Hunt. Ashley tells Justin she upset Paige by trying to be her friend. Justin tells Ashley he wants them to be friends but he needs Gregory. Vivien arrives home and thinks the place looks bad without her even though John didn't notice anything wrong. Then John kisses Vivien. Ruby learns Allison has written the spots for her to do and after looking them over says they are pretty good. Then Allison leaves. Christine tells Hunt she would like to get out of the studio for a while and is telling the truth and thanks Hunt for his support. Christine remembers her talk with Vicky when she found out that Stella and Brette had switched chairs. Then she sees Brette and tells her that they have something to discuss.
