Plot Overview

Mavis tells Ruby and Lurlene that they act more like roommates than employer and employee. Vicky tells Reena that Striker bought Hunt's building. Judith tells Grant she can't bear to stay in his house even though he has told her to take her time moving out. Reena tells Vicky of her visit to see Judith. Vicky tells Reena maybe it is time they both look toward new relationships. Joel tries not to disturb Mark while he is working but then Mark decides to leave the apartment and go to work. Judith tells Grant about Reena's visit to the house. Joel sets off the smoke detector and calls Lurlene so she heads over there. T.J. tells Billy Joe that the builder skipped town and maybe even the country. T.J. suggests that he sell the property and declare bankruptcy but Billy Joe doesn't want to do it. Nita tells Paige that Roger wants her to go to New York City now but she doesn't want to leave Billy Joe and the baby. Judith stops by the penthouse and Ruby thanks her for the dinner party and invites her to the party at the Top of the World Club. Then Ruby tells her how devious Elena can be and Judith can tell Ruby is jealous. Grant tells Reena she shouldn't have gone to see Judith. Billy Joe tells Nita that he has lost all of his money in the house and doesn't want to declare bankruptcy. Nita tells him she may have a solution for their problem. Mavis thanks Judith for the party. Joel tells Lurlene he misses her and she says the same thing about him. Hawker and Boots tell Mark and Grant that they supported Marshall Oil because of a deal they had with Hannibal. Then they leave saying they have nothing against World Oil. Reena tells Striker he has hurt Vicky too much. Then Reena gets a call from Mrs. Striker Bellman in Cuernavaca. Nita tells Billy Joe that Roger wants her to go to New York for a month or two, maybe longer, and says it's the only way to solve their money troubles. Striker tells Vicky that 20 years ago he took care of a client's wife and moved Mary Beth to Cuernavaca, Mexico. Striker tells Vicky that while she was involved with Alex Wheeler, he was with Mary Beth and now has a family down there with 3 kids.
