Plot Overview

Ruby gets upset when she learns from Lurlene that Mark took Elena home last night. Brette tells Judith she was proud of her last night. Vicky shows Reena the morning paper with a picture of Mr. & Mrs. Grant Wheeler in it. Brette tells Judith it is going to take some time for them to be close but she appreciated last night. Paige and T.J. arrive at the ranch and she mentions how getting married on the ranch and making up with their families is important to her. Nita and Billy Joe bring Billy Joe Jr. home from the hospital but Billy Joe feels nervous around the baby. Elena arrives and Ruby gets on her case about Mark. Then Mavis gets up and they see their picture in the paper but Ruby isn't thrilled that she is dressed like a maid in the picture. Then Elena has Ruby make breakfast. Vivien shows Brette the picture in the paper. Then George arrives and shows Vivien a picture of her and John. Then Brette leaves and Judith visits with George. Vicky leaves when Allison comes down and Reena tells Allison she wants to explain herself when she has the time. Paige and T.J. tell Kate they are getting married. George asks Judith if she would consider working with him as a consultant and she agrees to think about it. Reena talks to Striker and then decides to pay Judith a visit. Nita and Billy Joe thank Vicky and Hunt for stopping by and billy Joe mentions the fact that River Breeze bought the building with the Starlight Lounge in it. When Elena and Lurlene leave, Ruby and Mavis talk about what a good couple Joel and Lurlene make. Vicky confronts Hunt about his not telling her that Striker is the one who bought the building and adds that Striker is not going to get away with it. Paige and T.J. ask Kate if they can marry on the ranch and Kate is very happy about it. Then Ginny enters and learns that T.J. has his own law practice now. Reena tells Vivien she wants to talk to Judith. Ruby stops by to see Billy Joe and Nita and learns that Lurlene can be on his show. Mavis suggests to Lurlene that they get Ruby a new uniform. Then the girls chat about Joel. Mavis asks Lurlene if she is in love with Joel and she says she may be afraid of being in love with him because he has never seen her. Vicky confronts Striker and tells him that he is the one she needs protection from and suggests he go back to Cuernavaca and stay there. Judith and Reena have words and Judith tells Reena that she will make her a bet. In 6 months she will still be in the house with Grant. Then Judith tells Reena to get out and laughs once Reena leaves.
