Plot Overview
Lurlene tells Ruby that Joel has a whole new world to deal with now. Brette speaks to Vivien and John about Judith's last minutes dinner plans. Grant invites Reena to dinner at her place and then when Reena leaves Judith enters and invites Grant to dinner with the family. Grant tells Judith he is having dinner with Reena. Brette tells Vivien to let her know if her mom is giving her a hard time. Lurlene tells Ruby that Joel needs someone to help him and she is going to do it. Vivien tells Mark about Judith's dinner party plan. Vicky tells Reena she is going to Hunt's and then Reena tells her that Judith is staying in Houston. Judith invites Ruby to dinner and then learns of her dislike for Reena. Hunt tells Vicky he is really glad she came by. Dr. Holland tells Lurlene and Joel that he is doing very well and will be released soon. Joel tells Lurlene he needs her. Judith gives Vivien a hard time and then Vivien and John bet on whether or not Judith will get everything her way at the party. Grant tells Reena that Judith was having a family dinner but he is where he belongs. Ruby and then Rikki, arrive for dinner and Judith makes a grand entrance. Judith is surprised the Brette hasn't come down yet and then Brette enters, upstaging Judith. Hunt tells Vicky he would like to see their relationship go further but Vicky says she doesn't know. As the family talks, Vivien tells John that she won the bet because Mrs. Wheeler isn't getting everything her way. Grant and Reena sit by the fire and kiss. Judith's dinner party continues with talk about Brette as a little girl. Dr. Holland and Joel discuss his getting released and going to a convalescing center. Lurlene tells Joel everything will be OK. The Wheeler's toast to Judith and Brette makes a toast to her father.
