Plot Overview

Ruby and Lurlene try to figure out what Gretchen is up to and then Billy Joe arrives and tells them that Rikki has disappeared. Rikki and Brette hike through the canyons. Joel and Gretchen arrive at the canteen. Ashley tells Justin he doesn't have to drive the racecar himself and then Gregory asks about the racecar. Paige tries to get info out of T.J. about his childhood. Reena tells Vicky she will be working late and then Striker comes home. Justin tells Gregory and Ashley he has decided to name the racecar the Gregory One. Ruby tells Lurlene and Billy Joe that she thinks Rikki has run off somewhere with Brette Wheeler. Brette and Rikki continue to hike. The service station attendant tells Gretchen that 2 people went into Hitopah so Gretchen contacts Adams and Bailey and tells them to wait at La Cochita. Vicky tells Striker she knows it's another woman and won't be walked over. Mr. Elliston tells Reena he is going to sign with Marshall Oil and Reena wonders what is going on. Hannibal gets word from Addams and then tells Hawker and Boots he is surprised they aren't in better contact with their political candidate. Joel and Gretchen park their jeep by the other jeep and then Gretchen contacts Addams and tells them to sit tight. Paige tells T.J. of her childhood dream of being a star. Hawker and Boots pretend to already know that Rikki is out of town. T.J. and Paige arrive at Justin and Ashley's and then T.J. leaves with Justin for the Spindle Top and Paige tells Ashley that things are going well. Lurlene tells Ruby that she thinks Gretchen may be after Rikki and Brette. Then Elena arrives. Paige tells Ashley of her dinner with T.J.'s parents. Justin introduces T.J. to Hawker and Boots and the 4 of them talk with Byron Elliston about his oil leases. Reena sees Striker and asks why he hasn't called. Brette checks a ginger counter and then they move on. Ruby asks Elena to guest on the Billy Joe Show and then tells her that Rikki is gone. Joel and Gretchen hike through Hitopah. Striker gets upset with Reena and then walks out when Vicky enters.
