Plot Overview

Ryan tells Reena that Justin beat her out of an oil lease. Grant tells Brette that Judith is blocking the divorce. Lurlene tells Ruby she knows she must have imagined seeing Brette's friend on the floor and then Gretchen walks in. Rikki and Elena talk about Joe and Brette and about his possible political career and then Elena leaves when Joel arrives and Joel tells Rikki that someone is asking for his help in going to Hitopah. Adams calls Hannibal to tell him that he is still following Brette. Brette suggests to Grant that he tell Reena what is happening with the divorce and then Rikki calls to tell Brette to come talk to Joel again and so Brette leaves. Reena tells Ryan she thinks someone more powerful was behind Justin getting the Peterson oil lease. Lurlene tells Gretchen that she thought she saw a body so she is seeing a shrink and then Ruby enters and Gretchen leaves. Grant tells John and Vivien that it is going to cost $3,000 to fix the limo and if John messes up like that again he will have to fire him. Vivien calls driving schools. Ruby asks Lurlene not to tell anyone else about seeing any kind of body. Gretchen tells Hannibal if the girls have the missing piece to the Fire Compass she will get it. Joel agrees to let Rikki and Brette know who wants him to take them to Hitopah. Then Joel leaves and Rikki realizes that Brette is being followed so they leave. Vivien gives John a pretend driving test. Ryan tells Grant that Reena lost the oil lease to Justin. Hawker and Boots ask Ruby if she will work with them on the album. Ruby tells Hawker and Boots she will need to go to Nashville first class and they agree. Grant tells Reena he thinks Hawker and Boots about Marshall Oil getting the lease. Ruby and Elena have words and then Lurlene interrupts. Ruby tells Lurlene it's either Elena or her but Lurlene gets Ruby to agree to try harder to get along with Elena. Rikki and Brette hide as Adams approaches an elevator in the garage. Grant tells Reena that he loves her and that Judith is blocking the divorce. Reena tells Grant that she loves him too and will wait for as long as it takes to be with him. Rikki grabs Addams from behind and asks what he wants.
