Plot Overview
Rikki tells Brette there is no word on Miles. Hannibal tells Adams to find the missing piece to the Fire Compass and then he speaks to Hawker and Boots. Ruby tells Lurlene that she can tell the doctor everything that really happened. Justin tells Gregory he is taking him to a basketball game. Billy Joe gets 2 dozen roses from Nita. Ruby tells Lurlene that the doctor is supposed to keep what he hears confidential. Hannibal tells Hawker and Boots if they throw some oil leases to Marshall Oil he will back their candidate. Brette asks Rikki to help her get into Miles' room again and as they leave Miles' letter to Brette lays on the desk. Boots calls Justin and asks to speak to him so Justin has to cancel the basketball plans with Gregory. Billy Joe comes home to an apartment full of candles and Nita wishes him a happy 43rd day anniversary. Vivien tells John she something is bothering Brette. As Ruby talks to Gretchen, Kate arrives and asks where Lurlene is. Lurlene begins talking to Dr. Olendorf about her troubles. Billy Joe and Nita enjoy dinner. Ruby tells Kate that Lurlene is seeing a shrink. Lurlene tells Dr. Olendorf about her childhood and playing with her beautiful doll named Lurlinda. John tries to get Vivien's mind off of Brette's problems. Ashley tries to cheer Gregory up about missing the game. Hawker and Boots tell Justin if he will back Rikki as their political candidate they will give him oil leases and Justin agrees. In bed, Billy Joe and Nita make love. Justin gives Gregory season tickets to the rest of the Rockets' home games. Lurlene tells Ruby she feels better talking to the doctor. Brette and Rikki try to figure out where Miles is. Vivien puts the letter from Miles in the desk drawer accidentally.
