Plot Overview

Grant tells Brette and Mark that Judith is balking at the divorce. Reena introduces Rikki to Allison. An officer tells Miles he is free to go because someone paid his bail. Lurlene shows Ruby the nice print she made from the wooden cube. Ashley tries to cheer Gregory up after he doesn't have a good time playing with other children. Allison flirts with Rikki. Lurlene tells Ruby that Gretchen is rich and then when Gretchen arrives Ruby is very friendly to her after Lurlene leaves. Grant tells Brette and Mark that Judith is now interested in his stake at World Oil and adds that he would rather Judith not come to Houston. Reena and Vicky talk about how happy she is with Grant and how Vicky is keeping late hours. Allison and Ashley argue over the dress that Allison wore to work. Brette tells Mark that the reason Grant and Judith are getting a divorce is because Judith had an affair and then right before the divorce she had one with a much younger man and Mark says he needs to talk to Judith to get her side of it. Hawker and Boots tell Rikki that they are interested in him and think he has a great political future. Allison storms out on Ashley and Gregory asks Ashley to quit fighting with Allison. Ruby offers to look over Gretchen's finances. Kate tells Rikki how she and Ginny and Steve found a horrible body on the side of the road. Reena notices that Grant has something on his mind but he says everything is fine when she is with him. Ashley tells Gregory she will be better in the future about not arguing with Allison. Allison arrives to see Reena but is greeted by Vicky and Vicky offers to listen if she needs someone to talk to since Reena isn't home. Rikki tells Brette about Kate mentioning a body that looked like a mummy that was found. Miles decides to sit down and write out the entire legend of Hitopah and Sutar’s curse and the gas pellet in the Fire Compass. Grant and Reena talk about romantic places. Vicky and Allison talk about feeling lonely and they bond. Gretchen leaves and Lurlene decides to hang up the print she made. Miles gets the legend ready to mail to Brette in case anything happens to him. Brette tells Rikki that they need to find out more about the body because it may have something to do with the Fire Compass. Lurlene tells Ruby that she thinks a piece is missing from the wooden cube.
