Plot Overview

Mr. Hannibal and Ashley arrive at the Spindle Top. Allison tells Justin that Gregory is missing. Gregory hides from Beau. Ryan sees Mark after many years and tells him and Grant that he is going to check out Miles Renquist. Kate tells Ginny that Gregory came out to the ranch and now is missing. Mr. Hannibal tells Ashley that Hildy made all her money through investing in corporations that he owns and now he wants Ashley to leave the money invested with him or else. Rikki and Brette see Donny Jacobs about Hitopah. Ashley learns from Allison and Justin that Gregory is missing. Gregory finds the racecar on the Coleman porch and leaves the wooden cube in its place. While Reena and Mark talk, Striker calls to tell Mark to get over to the Spindle Top because he has arranged a meeting with Hawker and Boots. Kate and Ginny tell Ryan that Ashley's cousin, Gregory, is missing. Beau finds Gregory. Striker asks Hawker and Boots why they are in Houston. Donny tells Brette and Rikki about the legend of the Indian god Sutar and the curse that he put on Hitopah and also tells them that he once took a geologist named Miles Renquist into the Hitopah region. Hawker and Boots don't tell Striker anything and Mr. Hannibal tells them that's the way he wants them to keep it. Reena thanks Vicky for inviting Grant to dinner and then Striker and Grant arrive. Kate calls Ashley and tells her that Gregory came out to the ranch to get Justin's race car back and went to the Coleman place and may be lost. Beau scares Gregory into telling him where the puzzle is and not to mention seeing him to anyone. Grant and Reena share their first kiss. Justin introduces Allison to Kate and Ashley blames herself for Gregory missing. Beau finds the cube but is met by Wanda with a shotgun. Justin and Ashley decide to go out and look for Gregory and Ryan says he will check Marshall Village while Kate, Ginny and Allison wait at the ranch. Gregory is scared in the woods. Wanda makes Beau leave and then picks up the wooden cube and takes it into her house.
