Plot Overview

Reena tells Max if word gets out that Justin is slant drilling it will ruin him. Ryan tells Justin to shut the well down and then Justin tells Ashley they are going to pay a visit to Iris with the tape Ashley made of Alex. Iris tells Vivien she is going to do all she can to stop Dennis from going to jail. Joe tells Elena that he killed Chris Shaw. While Bobbie Sue and Billy Joe are talking at the Coop in walks Ruby. Billy Joe introduces Bobbie Sue Baker to his sister Ruby Wright. Lurlene tells Jeb about another guy having a fight with Bubba and then Jeb tells her that he is giving up the spy business after this case. Joe tells Elena that he killed Chris in self defense and Elena tells Joe he has to turn himself in. Reena tells Max that Paige sold her share of the ranch to Justin. Jeb asks Lurlene out on another date. Justin and Ashley visit Iris and tell he tells her he is concerned about Ryan and has a tape he wants her to here. Ruby tells Billy Joe that she will be in Houston as long as he needs her. Elena tells Joe if he won't turn himself in she will and so he agrees to get his money back and then write a confession to set Dennis free once he is safe in Mexico. Justin tells Iris that Alex's wish to give the company to Dennis can't happen because there was nothing in writing and then he helps her to conclude that that must be what Alex talk to Ryan about. Elena talks to Reena about Dennis' case and the possibility of Dennis getting out of jail if Joe sent in a confession. Max tells Jeb the Ryan is the man Lurlene saw fighting with Bubba. Iris bursts into tears with Vivien and tells her that she heard Alex's voice and believes Ryan contributed to Alex's stroke. Billy Joe tells Ruby that he married Nita and they are separated now. So Ruby plans to move in with him and she also talks to him about a few changes with the Coop. Ashley gets on Justin for what he did to Ryan but Justin tells her that he believes Ryan wanted power and is glad Alex is gone. Ryan stops by to see Iris and she tells him that Alex wanted Dennis to run World Oil. Ashley defends Ryan to Justin. Max and Reena talk about Joe and how they hope the police find him. Elena finds a note from Joe in the loft that says he has gone and that he loves her. Iris and Ryan argue over Alex, Justin and the company.
