Plot Overview

Jeb and Elena arrive at Max and Reena's for dinner. Elliot arrives at the Bellman's and has Ryan tell Ginny that Barrett pulled a gun on him. Barrett, in the study, recites scripture while holding the gun. Jeb, Elena, Max and Reena talk about Elena's career. Elliot tells Ryan and Ginny that he thinks Barrett will accept things now. Max surprises Reena with the information that he is building her the house she wants. Kate asks to talk to Barrett but he locks her out of the study. Vicky tells Ginny that Kate is on the phone for her and Kate asks Ginny to come to the ranch. Ginny tells Steve she is going to the ranch to talk to his father but that they are getting a divorce. Vicky and Elliot discuss the Roger Williams' letter and Elliot tells her that Barrett was not a traitor and that the 3 of them must keep the letter a secret. Elena and Jeb leave and then Max and Reena have a quiet moment. As Jeb and Elena kiss Elena tells Jeb that she loves him and then he pulls back. Ginny and Ryan arrive at the ranch and see Kate and then Ginny unlocks the study door and finds the loaded gun and takes the bullet but Barrett tells her that he has more bullets. Elliot tells Vicky that Dennis wants to divorce Paige and then Elliot meets Steve and leaves so Vicky can talk to Steve and she tells him that his parents' getting a divorce is best for all of them. Elena asks Jeb what's wrong and he tells her that her first time should be special and they should be sure first. Ginny tells Barrett if he kills himself he will destroy their son and he will never get over it and so Barrett promises to get help. Reena tells Max that she is ready for them to start a family. Striker talks to Steve about his parents getting a divorce. Ginny tells Ryan and Kate that Barrett is checking himslef into Gulf Coast in the morning and then goes to his medal for Steve and Ryan tells Kate he will care for Ginny and Steve. In the study Ginny finds a letter from Barrett that he is leaving Texas to go get help.
