Extra episodes

Why does this season include "extra" episodes? Eps. 25-30 should be listed as part of Season 3. For comparison, here's 2 (with only 24 episodes listed) from TV.com. And here's 3 (with those "extra" episodes listed here, to make 24 episodes). Additionally, here's a listing of episodes from Muppet Wiki, which confirms the same seperation of episodes.

If there's some reason for this, I'm glad to hear it out. But if I don't hear from anyone in a few days, I'll assume this was a simple mistake, and make the changes myself. -- TomakaLinus 15:04, 15 May 2007 (EDT)

The seasons are broken down based on airdates the episodes listed as season 2 aired togther then the show went off air for the summer and the episodes we list as season 3 started.--The-jam 15:17, 15 May 2007 (EDT)
Where do you get these airdates from? Every source I've seen (including two official books, Of Muppets and Men and Jim Henson: The Works) give these episodes as airing in Season 3, and Muppet Wiki and TV.com give different dates than the ones you provided. Your response isn't angering, just puzzling. If you can verify better sources, than we should change it back; but until then, I think we should go with what has more sources. -- TomakaLinus 16:49, 15 May 2007 (EDT)
I have asked Joltman to explain where he got the airdates he used. Until then, we will leave the seasons as they are. DCEdwards1966 | Talk 17:01, 15 May 2007 (EDT)
TV.com doesn't even have airdates for season 2 and their season 3 dates don't make much sense. They do not seem to be a reliable source in this case. Imdb has airdates for all the episodes but they don't make sense. It appears the second season DVD (advertised as "All the episodes from the 1977-1978 season") only has 24 episodes on it and these are the same 24 as imdb has listed as being in season 2 in the order imdb has them but imdb lists them as airing from May to November of 1977 and season 3 starting in February of 1978 which is still part of the same TV season. Also the muppet wiki lists season 3 as starting in October of 1978 (but has no actual dates) agreeing more with the DVD's description of when season 2 aired. This issue definitely needs more data before any changes are made.--The-jam 18:09, 15 May 2007 (EDT)

After searching around, I finally found my source, it was this. I just got the list from there, so if there's proof from other sources that the episodes and/or airdates were different, I'd say go with them. -Joltman 19:34, 15 May 2007 (EDT)
