Why was the cast template reverted to the old template? --MateoP 10:07, 23 July 2006 (EDT)
- The cast template is flawed because it has how many seasons can be used in the duration column set at a fixed number. The template will likely be fixed once variable templates are figured out and implemented here, but until then unflexible templates for things that are always in flux (like duration) shouldn't be used, especially when there's nothing wrong with the current method. --IndieRockLance 15:02, 23 July 2006 (EDT)
- The problem with the Table method is that it looks rather sloppy in edit and is more difficult to edit. There doesn't appear to be any problem with the cast template for this show, though. Until the show runs for 5+ seasons. I vote using the easier to edit method of the casttemplates. --MateoP 15:28, 23 July 2006 (EDT)

- It doesn't really matter how it looks in edit and it isn't that confusing. Using a table that would just be changed later down the line would only cause issues because the changes to the template would break the table for any page that uses it. Until a correct version of the table is finalized, using a half-assed version isn't a good idea. --IndieRockLance 15:45, 23 July 2006 (EDT)
