Talk:Bones

I watched the pilot last night and it was merely ok. The story was interesting enough, but there it is pretty obvious that the producers are basically trying to mix CSI/Cold Case (a la Crossing Jordan).

The acting was pretty solid, but the script tried way too hard, the situtations and interactions were forced and a bit cheezy. Too much forced forshaddowing, like they were showcasing the characters powers(markmanship, martial arts, ability to guess people features just from the bones etc...)

On a technical note, the holographs look too good, which is a pet peve of mine(CSI is also very guilty of this, I wish they would show the ACTUAL applications of the technology, not some pretty multimedia factsimili)

I've been a fan of David Boreanaz since Buffy/Angel and I am hoping that this show will make the necessary adjustments and be a hit. I think it is really going to depend on the chemistry of the two main characters. --Pittster 14:17, 14 Sep 2005 (EDT)

  1. The show makes me wonder why so many shows seem to have great potential on paper, but when made simply seem unable to live up to their potential. I too found the script `forced`, making the creators of the show seem too desperate to satisfy their audience. I hope they manage to fine-tune (although - in my opinion - it needs some very heavy-duty tuning) the show, before the flaws catch up to it. --H9000 11:48, 14 Sep 2005 (EDT)

Does anyone have any idea why this article doesn't seem to be alphabetizing into categories correctly? -- Lampbane 14:12, 6 February 2007 (EST)

I don't know what the problem was. I saved the article without making any changes and it now sorts correctly. Must have been some database problem. DCEdwards1966 | Talk 14:22, 6 February 2007 (EST)
