Episode Overview

Reward Challenge

• The reward is a feast of steak and eggs. The challenge is to grab ten colored-tribe pigs into the tribe's pen. One tribemember will be the gatekeeper to make sure that pigs cannot escape. On Jeff's go one tribemember at a time, they will grab a pig and place it into the pen. The catch is that each tribemember must grab two pigs because once they got their second pig, they will not go back in the field for the rest of the challenge. They could have two pigs at one time, or they could get one pig at a time and let the other tribemember get a pig. The first tribe to ten wins reward. Lopevi chose Julie and Yasur chose Scout as the gatekeepers. The challenge began as John and Rory got into the muddy field causing the pigs to scatter all over the place. Rory and John each got their tribe's first pig. John remained in the field while Ami joined in. John got their second pig and Chris came into the field just as Ami got her pig. Lisa came into the course as Chris grabbed his first pig. Chris went back in for his second pig as Lisa struggled to carry the heavy pig. Lisa delivered her tribe's third pig into the pen just before Chris brought in his second pig. With Chad and Eliza on the course, it soon became clear that diving for the pig makes it easier rather than reaching for the pig which causes it to run off quickly. Eliza only reached instead of leaping for the pig, and Chad dived at the pig easily. Eliza still can't get a pig and went back to pen empty-handed as Chad delivered his second pig. Leann and Twila went out on the course. Leann had no problems grabbing her first pig. Twila cornered a pig and snatched it. Leann went back in the pen and Rory went back into field. Rory got his second pig but lost his grip. Twila got her second pig leaving Sarge as Lopevi's only pig-catcher remaining. Rory got his second pig as Sarge got his first. Yasur could not catch up as Sarge grabbed the tenth pig and dropped it into his tribe's pen winning reward.
