Plot Overview

A prison therapist breaks Lex and Metallo free to join forces to take down Superboy.

Happenings

• Dr. Odessa Vexman, a therapist at the Capital City State Prison, convinces Lex and Metallo to join forces. Lex is reluctant, but is taken when there's a prison riot that also freed Metallo.

• Lex builds a high-frequency tone generator to deafen Superboy, leaving him vulnerable.

• Lana decides to take time a leave of absence to return to Smallville where she learns gambling has been legalised and a developer named Bill Trenton has opened a series of poker parlours in town.

• Vexman's reason is revenge as she believes Superboy lead her on to stop a man who was going to unleash a virus, causing her to switch sides.

• Justina Vail previously played Winger's assistant in "Road to Hell". Since her character was not named, it's debatably the same character.

Goofs

• When Metallo is rolled out, the shadow of a boom mic arm can be seen cast on the wall.

• When we see the car explode, there is a panel of some kind it is sitting on.
