Suburban Shootout is a black comedy. Joyce Hazledine and her policeman husband Jeremy move from the big city to the sleepy town of Little Stempington. Behind its idyllic façade the town is in the grip of ultra-violent housewives who deal in everything from protection rackets to murder. As wife of the local chief inspector, Joyce becomes the prize in a fierce power struggle between two rival gangs.
