Plot Overview
Mentally challenged Joby, who helps out around the rodeo grounds, thwarts a robbery at the box office, critically injuring the two robbers. An investigative reporter wonders why Joby is reluctant to take credit for his actions, instead letting Stoney take the credit, and the reporter finds out why: Joby is wanted for injuring two kids who tormented him and his dog. When the police chief, who had Joby in custody, releases him, the reporter taunts Joby, trying to provoke him into violence that will surely get him locked up.
