From The TV IV

Stoked is a Canadian animated sitcom which debuted on Teletoon on June 25, 2009. The show is produced by Fresh TV Inc. in association with Teletoon. It airs on Thursday nights at 7:00 p.m. (beginning on September 10, 2009) with a rebroadcast on Sunday nights at 7:00 p.m.

The show focuses on a group of six teenagers who go to work for the summer at their first jobs at Surfer's Paradise, a resort renowned for its surfing located on Sunset Island, British Columbia, on the west coast of Canada. Contrary to what they had hoped for, the group of six (named Reef, Broseph, Johnny, Fin, Emma and Lo) discover that Surfer's Paradise is designed with the tourist in mind (meaning, to them, tacky and fake) and find their jobs to be less than ideal, having to wear uniforms on the job and being treated with not much respect by resort visitors, with a second-rate staff house for the gang to stay in. To make up for the less-than-ideal job situation they find themselves in, the gang look forward to taking every opportunity to go surfing on their days off from work.
