Plot Overview

SG-1 accompanies the X-53 on its voyage into deep space. When the ship drops out of hyperspace, SG-1 is stranded with no means of getting back to Earth. Their only option lies in exploring a nearby planet where a Stargate is thought to be located.

• The navigator is referred to as "Peter DeLouise". This is an obvious reference to director Peter DeLuise whose idea it was to give the character the name.
