Originally the character of Michael was played by Connor Trinneer, but due to personal reasons, Trinneer was unable to reprise the role. Michael in his Wraith form is now played by Brent Stait. While not acting for this episode, Trinneer is nevertheless referred as guest star—probably due his appearance in the flashback scene.
