From The TV IV

Sons of Anarchy frequently uses licensed music to help establish the atmosphere of the show. It uses mostly traditional style rock and roll recorded by newer less well known artists. Below is a list of the songs used during the series.

Theme Song

A five track iTunes exclusive EP called Sons of Anarchy: North Country (purchase) was released with songs from the series including the theme song (one song, Anvil's "Slip Kid," was only used in the season 2 promos). The other three songs are noted in bold below.
