Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) is a thirty-something party girl who writes a weekly column, entitled Sex and the City, for the fictitious New York Star.

Basic Information

A dedicated fashionista, Carrie is a self proclaimed shoe fetishist and shopaholic. She loves New York City, at one stage labelling the city her boyfriend. She lives in a one-bedroom apartment in an Upper East Side brownstone.

Character History

Carrie's most important relationships have always been with her best friends, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte, who have been described as her soulmates and the loves of her life.

Arguably, the fifth love of her life has been Mr Big, a commitment-phobic mystery man. After two failed attempts at a relationship and one affair, the pair decided that they 'didn't work' as a couple and remained good friends. However, when Carrie moved to Paris with her boyfriend, Big realised that he was losing the love of his life and flew over to confess his feelings.
