|On January 4, 2015, I will be shutting down the server that hosts The TV IV website. It has been a very long time since I've been able to put any decent amount of time into the site, and ad revenue is plummeting. I think it is time to shut it down or hand it off to someone who can keep it going properly. If you are interested in taking over the site's code and data, contact administrators at tviv.org. --CygnusTMtalk|

My Day Off is the ninth episode of the first season of Scrubs, and the ninth episode overall.
Guest Stars: Paul Collins (Dr. Benson), Michael McDonald (Mike Davis), Trevor Davis (Tommy), Amelinda Embry (Jennifer), Angee Hughes (Admitting Nurse), Dylan Wagner (Tommy's Brother), Drew Wicks (Patient #1)
The tables are turned as JD becomes a patient at Sacred Heart. When appendicitis strikes him while he's trying to pick up a girl, he's assigned as a patient to Elliot, who proceeds to violate him with a cold clinical examination. She's surprised when all her other patients agree with his complaints about her technique. As she sets off to improve her bedside manner, Dr. Cox wheels out JD to show him off to his former mentor Dr. Benson, Dr. Kelso's predecessor as Chief of Staff, who is in the hospital with chest pains.
Turk is the resident chosen to perform JD's surgery, but JD wounds Turk deeply when he asks for another Surgeon. Eventually Turk is forced to cut JD open anyway and they end up back at The Free Clinic (their local watering hole) with JD in a wheelchair to celebrate thanksgiving.
- It is revealed that JD is afraid of pennies in this episode. This is probably because in the first episode he suggested that a penny was jammed in the door the Janitor was fixing, and seems to be what caused the Janitor to dislike him so much.
- Music: The songs that play in the episode are Hooch by Everything and Fuzzy by Incredible Moses Leroy.
