Rob Schrab is an American writer, director and producer who found early cult fame by creating the independent comic book Scud: The Disposable Assassin. Schrab co-created Channel 101 and wrote a pilot for Jack Black called Heat Vision and Jack, but his most well known television project is The Sarah Silverman Program.

Rob Schrab grew up in Mayville, Wisconsin, and attended art school in Milwaukee. In college, was a founding member of the comedy troupe the Dead Alewives, along with Dan Harmon. After graduation he created the popular small press comic book, Scud the Disposable Assassin. The comic was made into a video game, and optioned for a feature film. Though the film never surfaced, Schrab and Harmon found work in Hollywood and eventually wrote a number of screenplays, making contact with people like Ben Stiller and Jack Black, who they continue to work with to this day. They are also the co-creators of the Channel 101 film festival.
